Learn it in 5 minutes. You need: a claude.ai account + the files you want to read (PDF, Word, etc.).

Follow along

1. Click the **paperclip ** in the chat box and upload your file (several at once is fine).
2. Paste this:

Read this file and give me: ① a one-sentence summary ② the 3 most important points ③ the key numbers, with the page they appear on.

3. Multiple files? Upload them together and say: “Compare these documents — list what they agree and disagree on, as a table.”

What you’ll see

Dozens of pages condensed into a few lines — with page numbers so you can flip back and check.

Quick warnings

• Don’t upload confidential files or personal data — or use Incognito mode (nothing gets remembered).
• Before quoting a number, flip to that page and glance at it yourself.
